Most don't have ABS because the trucking companies have managed to fight
off the requirement.  Trucking companies are always willing to sacrifice
safety for higher profits, as is shown by the large number of trucks that
fail the inspections they haven't managed to get eliminated yet.  There
are *some* semis with ABS, however.
