Sam, This sure sounds like the starts of the cursed "Vanagon Syndrome". Very easily cured with the little capacitor in the Air Flow Meter. Check out Harrald's web page for the details on how to fix it yourself. http://www.geocities.com/harald_nancy/intermitt._syndrome.htm Good luck, Joel 89 Syncro Westy Rochester NY Sam Williams <Sglw@AOL.COM> wrote: I am returning from a trip across the country in our 87 automatic westy. Sometimes at around 65-70 mph it starts to stutter. When I put my foot right down it goes away but does not have a lot of go. Then everything will be all right. I have tried several different kinds of injector cleaner and it seems to get better. Is this a common problem or just a symptom of vanagons? 63 singlecab (Dove Blue_ Kleine Blau) 70 westy Sam's Bus pages --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo!
