okay dumb question.

are the westies any good in the snow?

I'm trying to decide what is my best "snow car" in a
have-to-get-somewhere situation.

03 Jetta TDI wagon 5spd with good Michelins (REALLY low ground
clearance --- but will go as long as it's not bottoming out)

82 Westy 4spd. strong motor. 2 sets of mismatched tires. cheapies
with good tread. half full of camping supplies, silverware, propane
stove, chairs, linens etc.. (almost warm heat)

73 Mercedes 220D 4spd. good luck getting it started.

if it's real bad, I have off (perk of being a teacher) but there are
still needs.... (take grandma somewhere, visit girl, etc..)

I live in York PA, roads are maintained eventually, but they drift
shut now and then. no super steep hills, and eventually everything is
salted.

PS I pressure wash the bottoms of all my vehicles after salt. rust
aside, what's my best one for traction?
