If you're continuing east past Rapid City, you might as well stop at Wall
Drug.
Especially since you'll probably be seeing signs for it well before Devil's
Tower.  We also really, really, really, really enjoyed the Mammoth dig site
and Crazy Horse monument.  You should definitely make the time to check
those out.  We camped at a KOA in Rapid City where the attendant actually
knew how to properly fill a Westy LP tank!!!  Any plans on dropping down to
I-80 @ Sioux City and coming thru Des Moines????
