Tim Beidel, Welcome to the club! In those same two months that you have had your van, ours stranded us twice. First time on the side of I-5 outside of Tacoma, dead alternator. Then in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada with a slipping clutch. Think of it this way, at least you are at home, and not thousands of miles from home. Mark in AK 87Westy Syncro And get use to it you will.... Hahahahahahahahahhahahahahaha tim in san jose (actually only left at the side of the road once - outa gas) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tim Beidel" <tbeidel@MAINE.RR.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Friday, October 24, 2003 1:44 PM Subject: More hazing during induction into the Vanagon society > I've had my Vanagon for a two months now - it still has temporary plates.
