I'm not sure if they have electric or not, but the Beartree campground in the Mt Rogers NRA is a very nice campground and convenient to the creeper trail. I believe, in fact, that there is a connector trail that will let you get on to the creeper trail from the campground. If you are using a shuttle from Damascus to Whitetop Station, then Beartree is convenient to there as well. http://www.southernregion.fs.fed.us/gwj/mr/ -a -- 89 Westy XCAP WGN > -----Original Message----- > From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] > On Behalf Of Edward Maglott > Sent: Tuesday, November 04, 2003 9:51 PM > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > Subject: nice campgrounds near Virginia Creeper Trail > > > Thinking about going to the Virginia Creeper Trail in the > next few weeks and wonder if anybody has specific campgrounds > to recommend in the area.
