Here's the story. I have a 1985 Westfalia GL with the original 1.9l =

oil breather assembly for a 1.9l motor? The other is 391 117 090 2, =
which I was hoping was for a hose that attaches to the oil breather =
assembly. The confusing part is, the Etka printout I have is =
Illustration 10-00, Year 85, MG 1, SG 15, Update 565. Two listees have =
told me this Illustration is for a 2.0 aircooled motor, and that the =
part number my mechanic gave me matches up with 2.0l parts.
I spent a great deal of time on this yesterday. ETKA illustration
10-00 is certainly for the 2.0 litre air-cooled engine. Part No. 025 115 451 is
certainly the oil breather assembly for the 1.9 engine. Part No. 391 117 090 2
comes up as "Unknown Part". BIG question here is why is the 2.0 litre
air-cooled engine coming up in the 1985 Vanagon parts directory on ETKA ? I thought
1983 was the last year for the 2.0 litre air-cooled motor. Was it still
offered as an option ? Or, is ETKA screwed up ?

Cheers
