Hi James,
I run 215:65X16 on 6.5in wide Alloys. Enjoy the added rubber on the road so
to speak. Have taken a hit on acceleration (do feel this on hills and with
the A/T)  due to the 1&1/2inch additional Diameter of this particular
tire/wheel combination over a stock 185:75X14 and Speedo indicates about 10%
slow (lower) than actual. Lots of clearance in wheel wells and from all the
running gear. I realize the combination I am running is different other than
the 215 size you are inquiring about but for what it is worth.... the 215
size fits well and no problems in the handling department.
