Earlier this evening I asked for help on the kinds and number of drive belts I need for my 89 syncro. Four people have been kind enough to respond. The only problem is I got four different answers:

  a.. 2 belts: 1 for AC, 1 for the power steering / water pump / alternator 
  b.. 3 belts: 1 for AC, 1 for the water pump, 1 for the alternator / power steering. 
  c.. 3 belts: 1 for AC, 1 for power steering, 1 for water pump / alternator 
  d.. 4 belts: 1 for AC, 1 for power steering, 1 for water pump, 1 for alternator
I have to admit I am still at a bit of a loss here. I guess I'll wait for a consensus.
