John, The console of my dreams is/has: Low enough for my seats to swivel Two cup holders large enough for a water bottle. (Maybe four holders) CD Changer 8" Woofer and amp. Woof will face down for it's own protection Places for misc. stuff such as my cell phone and other junk I think I need A couple of lighter jacks Durable enough for the inevitable kicking and stepping on. MDF? In my van, this won't extend forward enough to surround the shifter This is a project I just haven't gotten around to yet but this is how in envision it.
