If this is the person I think it is, her name is Jane Snyder and she
runs a used car lot in Lancaster specializing in Busses and Vanagons.
(It is called Crossroads, or was several years ago.)  So she has
reasonably good knowledge of the resale value of VW vans, their common
flaws, etc. I have seen several of her vans over the years. Some were
very clean and others rust buckets, but they were priced according
(which is all that one could expect; you get what you pay for). From my
very limited dealings with her she struck me as honest, and among the
handful of people I've spoken to who bought vans from her I have not
been told any horror stories. Of course YMMV, caveat emptor, etc.
