Pretty common for the end of the cable to wear where it meets the grease cup at the front left wheel hub. I've gotten pretty good at estimating the speed of the blue 84 by the sound and the other traffic. I am on a mission to fix everything on at least one of my buses. So I have the speedometer out. I used a drill to spin it and the needle moves fine. Therefore my problem must be one of the cables, or the little gear box under the bus? Unless I hear some advice from you all, I think I'll jack up the front drivers side whell and spin it as I inspect the cables underneath. Is this the next step? Thanks.
