I have mine on the stand, and having one heck of a time.  I have done it
before, but it has been a year and a half or so ago.  I even bought the vw
tool 3090, and ??do not see how the heck that is used. I am having trouble
as you imagine getting it lined up with the connecting rod in the #2 and
number 4 cylinders..............I am avoiding really tapping the heck out of
it for fear of mashing the wrist pin bushing..................

Any one been here?
