The digital clock on my bus is missing the top horizontal bar on the far
right minutes digit. Meaning, for example, if it's 9:39 it reads 9:34 (picture the
digital readout).

The bus had no battery for about four weeks and the instrument pod was out of
the vehicle. Now it's got a battery and is all together bu the clock seems to
be protesting.

Is there a trick to getting the clock to illustrate the time correctly?
