Frank, my man, I guess that depends on how long your customer will allow you
to go looking.  If he's an attorney, do what he would do and first ask, "How
much do you want to spend on this problem?"

Regardless of what you test, you can't tell anything for certain until a
system is under operating conditions.  I could fill a book with anecdotes that
demonstrate this basic truth.
