If you have the space, store the van until circumstances permit you to
register and insure both.
Use the Honda as a commuter and the Van as a "hobby" that can be
pressed into service as needs be (vacations- live in it if you can't
afford rent, whatever).

It's been a big part of your life, hold onto it if you can.
