I highly recommend that everyone read their insurance policy. Not so much so you know what you're paying for as so you can find all the amazing stuff they thought to put in. For example, my renter's insurance covers me in the event of damage from volcanic blasts or lava flows, but not earthquakes. Acts of war are not covered, and there's a note that the detonation of a nuclear advice -- whether accidental or intentional -- is considered an act of war. Also, it specifically says I'm covered for damage caused by aircraft *and* spacecraft crashes. David Brodbeck, N8SRE '82 Diesel Westfalia '94 Honda Civic Si -- For Sale '86 Volvo 240DL wagon
