I do not plan to remove my XCA's until the tread is gone. Mounted on a Vanagon or Westy it's a good match. Strong tire. As Joel has said, an overloaded tire is a bad tire on any vehicle, and a blowout waiting to happen, as is an under-inflated tire. The pecs on the XCA are pretty stout for the Vanagon based vehicles.
