So my wife an i are finally getting around to
importing our vehicles (now that a job is emminent, we
can finally sign up for these "permanent" move
things), up here in Canada.  Her honda shouldn't be a
problem, but when calling VWofA, the lady i was
talking to couldn't find my Van's VIN number...  If
she can't find that number, i can't get the recall
clearance notice, and i can't import my van.  I'm sure
this won't be a problem, but have any of you run
across this before?

What happens if VW can't find my van?

(as a side note, honda was easier to get a hold of,
and didn't give me any lost-vehicle grief...)
