Gentlemen, check your rear wheel bearings

As part of the restoration of my '84 7-passenger, I had my local shop replace brakes and bearings front and back as well as shocks.  Verdict from the tech was that the right rear bearings should have been replaced many miles ago.  My Vanagon always was noisy in back even after rebuilt CVs, etc.  It is now as quiet as a mouse.
