I have a 3 series BMW which has a plastic cover over the headlights also. I have tried several things but what works best for me is 3M Finish Restorer. It works better than other plastic polishes I have tried. It does a great job on paint too !! Walmart has started stocking it, $8 or $9 but well worth it. Steve Cotsford Columbia SC
