As I privately communicated to Ron some time ago, I ordered the 09171OE wires for my air-cooled Vanagon but had to return them as unsuitable. The coil to distributor wire is only about a foot long and since most Vanagons I've seen have had the coil mounted on the left side of the engine compartment this wire won't work with that configuration. (He now has a picture of these wires on the web site so if you go to the trouble of looking at the picture you'll see the "too short" distributor/coil wire.) Too, I found that the plug wires were generally shorter than other wire sets I've used and, if fact, the #3 wire was so short it wouldn't even allow me to connect to the #3 plug! --------------------------------------------------------------- Tom Young '81 Vanagon Lafayette, CA 94549 '82 Westfalia ---------------------------------------------------------------
