I looked at the recommended repair list. I searched the archives. Nothing
I could find.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a vanagon repair shop in Phoenix?

We�ve been on the road a lot and she�s been doing well, but right before
we hit Phoenix tonight I looked in my rearview window and thot, gee that�s
weird to have condensation on the back window and not the front. Well,
when we stopped at my spouses parent�s house (only 15 miles or so later)
and got out I went around back to look at the condensation thing. It is
oil. There is oil leaking from the box near the back axel (square box that
has �fins�...drips coming from 4-5 points). (sorry, I�m not super well
trained on the engine stuff...I don�t know if this is oil, transmission
fluid or what)...thoughts on what it is, and suggestions on where to bring
it appreciated. We�re supposed to be heading back to Oakland on the 3rd of
January.

The only thing I knew to check is fluid levels. Everything is at fine
levels...
