There was a web site that had pictures on a step by step tear down and
rebuild.
If you drain it I bet you see a ton of metal stuck to the drain
magnet.

Just bought an 85 Westy with engine and tranny OUT of the vehicle.

Transmission reportedly was poping out of 4th.

Is this due to the infamous 3-4 slider issue???

Is there a simple way to open up the tranny without a complete teardown
to
check for this problem or other general condition.
