I have an ECU that I need to confirm is programmed for the 2001 TDI it came
with, that I am installing in my 87 Syncro.
I'm looking for someone who has a VAG-COM tool and a 1999 or newer VW TDI
and is willing to help.
My ECU can be plugged into the car (just to be powered up) and then easily
read with the VAG-COM tool.
Once I can get the serial number from the ECU program, I can confirm that
it's the right ECU for my engine.
Anyone able to help out here? Thanks tons!
