I am in the process of rebuilding a 1.9L, and am just
about ready to clean up the pistons and hone the
cylinders. So my question would be-is there anything
specific I am going for here, or is a person just
doing this to give the rings fresh wall to scrape? I
can see the old hone at the top and bottom  of the
barrels where the rings never passed over, so am I
just trying to ruff up the cylinder walls or what?
