Please take note that this site is primarily for Type I and II engines and the vehicles they power. http://www.vwalley.com/index.html My 76 Porsche has about twenty of the Cheese Head screws in it's sheet metal, my 356 had an equal number in it's sheet metal. My 66 Westy had lots of those cheese head screws in it. However my 83 Air Cooled Westy only had about four in it. Stan -----Original Message----- From: Tom Young [mailto:tomyoung1@comcast.net] What's "correct" about them? My '81, which I purchased new off the dealer's lot, has always had Phillips head screws for the tin. --------------------------------------------------------------- Tom Young '81 Vanagon
