Well I am finally driving the Vanagon again.  Now it is time to tackle the
smog issues.  Here were the readings.

2582rpm max             average         my van

988rpm          max             average         my van
HC              150             0040            324
CO%             1.20            00.10           2.93
C02                                             10.7
O2                                              3.8

If just the HC or CO was out, that I could handle but I am not sure of the
best place to start on this.
Things replaced/fixed so far:
Distributor cap
Rotor
Plug cables
Plugs
Vacuum lines

O2 sensor is working

I am looking suggestions as to any adjustments/sensors that might be out
that could cause these readings.
