Subject:Re: Flashing Temperature LED
From:John Rodgers

Happened to me on my 88 GL while out in NM. Problem didn't go away until
I changed the sensor in the tank. Found a hairline crack - almost invisible.

Started to slow down and and the LED stopped flashing. A little while later (when the speed was up to 65mph) the LED did it again. No high temperature was indicated. Checked the expansion tank and sensor and it was fine. Checked the temperature sensor and the connection and sensor seemed fine.

I don't see anything else that could cause the flashing. Has anyone else ever had this happen before?
