Hello list, I am hoping some of you cross-platform geniuses out there can help me with a little project i have. Problem: I'm just about ready to upgrade my FI system to a Megasquirt unit. I am pretty close to installing it with the exception of one problem - the throttle position sensor. Megasquirt (MS) uses a genuine throttle position sensor... not the dinky little idle/WOT switch we get. I need to replace the stock switch with this sensor, but don't really know anything about them, or how they typically mount to the throttle body. The sensor needs to output 0-5V (linear). Do you of you smart mechanic-y kids out there have any suggestions for obvious (to you) solutions for a guy who doesn't really have much time to spend at a wrecking yard? I unfortunately have only meager fabrication facilities at the moment, so any thing used to fit the sensor would have to be fairly simple (but if you say it can be done, i am reasonably clever in figuring things out). It would also help if you could recommend a particular make/model of vehicle to get it from. It would be nice to stay VW, but not really important... Your help is much appreciated, and thank you in advance, -Damon ===== '84 Westy (Sparky) w/2.3L WBX (wow... it actually works!) __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
