I have a red top under my passenger side seat. I put it on its side and
marked the spots where the posts would sit on the forward edge. Then I pounded out
two indents with a 2"X2' solid steel piece of fan shaft as a chisel. Lined
the walls with rubber for insulation and installed a hold down strap. Ugly but
out of sight.
