John, " think the best approach is the secure your goods, don't leave dog food or antifreeze on the roof" I agree totally and I know Stan was only kidding. The Nutria episode was funny but only because no innocent rodents were harmed. Foolishly I thought things were ok on the roof. But that event and the next night in Florida when a Raccoon climbed the Van and went for the Antifreeze taught me otherwise. Of course I moved everything into the Van. Strong Metal Containers for the roof cargo area might be a good idea. And then last night another Raccoon tried to drag away my Grey Water Receptacle. What is it with these Southern Creatures :) Larry Chase Email: RoadGuy@RoadHaus.com Web: WWW.RoadHaus.com Cell: 408.202.1217 What: North American Road Trip How: RoadHaus - 1990 White VW Westfalia Syncro Today: Florida - - - Date: Thu, 12 Feb 2004 22:26:19 -0600 From: John Rodgers <jh_rodgers@BELLSOUTH.NET> Subject: Re: Antifreeze and pests and pets Clipped > > I think the best approach is the secure your goods, dont leave dogfood > or antifreeze on the roof.
