Can anyone offer a good solution for retaining the caps? Jim, If you use spacers and do not machine the holes all the way, you may still be able to use the Audi caps. I have seen peopple use Velcro -- tacky and gets fithy dirty. I use aftermarket billet caps with set-screws. The production versions are a bit too short (shallow) for the Vanagon application. I found an outfit which makes extensions for any center cap but ridiculously priced at over $160 a set of four. With the billet caps at about $50, that makes things economically impractical. I am studying getting the center caps replicated in the Philippines. They are already making bull bumpers for me. If they can make them cheap enough, I will try to put a group purchase together. BenT
