I have a perspective, but a reverse one. I bought a New Beetle TDI and am
enjoying 44 MPG same driving conditions that produced 16 MPG out of my
Vanagon. It's nice to go over 500 miles on the same amount of fuel that
took my Vanagon just past 200 miles. That's one way to get the crude oil
monkey of my back.

Peace,
