I'm looking for a replacement ghost, the plastic block that holds the window glass glide to the power window cable stud on a 90 Vanagon Carat.  Has anyone had experience rebuilding this part or finding a replacement part (under $10 bucks) and not purchasing the entire 2 cable system and glide $$$ ?  Are the same mechanisms used on the 89 - 92 Jetta Carats?  I'm thinking about fashioning one out of brass... Ideas?  Thanks,  Brett 90 Carat (BoxCar)
