On an 84, the radiator fan runs whenver the AC is switched on, regardless of whether or not the compressor is on. Check the wiring and relays there. My problem is the radiator fan motor wont shut off. I have replaced the relay switch that screws into the radiator with a few salvage switches but still get the same result. I cant beleive 4 of these salvage screw-in switches are all bad--what else could be wrong--I have pulled the fuse in the meantime and I would like to fix it before it gets hot--could this be related to my A/C problem?(too high pressure, compressor cycles and still no cold air----mechanic says I likely need an expansion valve and a new dryer wouldn't hurt)
