Hi Joel et al, The short shifter is a really nice addition on the 5 speed too, especially for the 1st to 2nd change since 1st is outside the H pattern. But I too wanted a grab handle for the driver's side just like the passenger's side ( I like symmetry ;) but in my case, the holes were already there ready to accept a new handle behind a plastic plug which hid the fixing points.... I just had to buy handle and fix it in there. One of the few times that owning a RHD vehicle originally designed for LHD has actually been an advantage...:) Cheers, Steve O NSW Australia '92 Transporter WBX Kombi '00 Transporter Double Cab '03 Transporter Double Cab (work truck) '78 Landrover Series 3 Ex Aust.Army At 12:00 AM 3/03/2004 -0500, you wrote: >Date: Tue, 2 Mar 2004 20:19:08 -0600 >From: Joel Walker <jwalker17@EARTHLINK.NET> >Subject: Re: best mod for vanagon? > > > So what is the best mod to do for a vanagon? > >ooooh. boy, that's a toughie.
