Just my own preference/opinion on this kit: putting on the extension negated
the shorter throw and the crisper feel of shifting I got by adding the kit.
I don't know the math but: the shifter reduces shift throw by 25%
(advertised); what does the 6" extension add to that distance? It made no
sense to me and actually put the shift knob too high for my comfort.

I would also like one of these if the price is right.  I can't imagine
needing the extension, though.
