Could you tell me what the washers are for? Any tips on the install? Happy with the results? I also plan on installing the projectztwo driving lights. Anyone have any install tips on these? This is all for my wifes 91GL. Bill, The big brake kits they sell are from the South African version of the Vanagon. I bought one set from my local VW parts place and one from the group purchase we had a year or two ago. The big washers are used to space out the calipers on Syncros. IIRC you don't need them on 2wd. I'm not sure if Volks Cafe has done this on their kits but listmember and vendor John Wessels discovered long ago that the inside of the rotor hat has to be clearanced slightly to clear the hub. Otherwise, you are likely to warp the brake rotor (disc) upon installation. You'll also need to have you brake proportioning valve adjusted. I just paid a local shop to do that for me so I can tell you how it was done. BenT
