Maybe YOU have found a way to burn the paint with a stripe eraser, but I
never have.  Anyway, if you want a mess and to spend a lot of time making it, try
to use heat to remove the thin gauge, ancient striping on your run of the mill
Vanagon.  By now, these appliques are hardly the same as year-old signage
stock.
