Sorry for dropping the F word. I don't think the context in which I used it
was offensive, but nevertheless I will refrain from using it again. Again sorry

Ron's story of breaking down on a dangerous road is reason enough to replace
the hoses. It's like he said, The originals probably lasted about 10 years and
if you replace them with new OEM hoses from VW, Bus Depot, Ken, and the like
they will last the same.
