James,
The HD in my area (SE Florida) had some fairly wide stuff -- I believe it was almost 2", perhaps it's a local stock item, dunno. I tried to trim the foam to fit exact where I could with the ol' knife. The entire flap was cover with new foam.
Have fun with the re-assembly!

The camper seals I saw at HD were fairly narrow (maybe 1/2 - 3/4" wide ?).
Whereas the flap is about 2" wide and the stock material covers the entire
flap. Was the stuff you found in the weather-stripping section? How wide
was it?
Or did you not cover the entire flap? I suppose I could just run the strips
around the perimeter of each flap and allow it to overhang the edge a bit
like the stock foam...Have something to add on this topic today? Revive this thread in the forum »
