Hi all, My starter was dragging and I pulled it. I noticed that the shaft collar was beaten up. It had been hitting the outer edge of my new pressure plate. How in the world did this happen? Was it going in too far? How and Why? I've got a new starter and now I'm trying to get the old bushing out. I've read in the archives that we ought to use a tap to remove it. I'm on my way to FLAPS to get a tap now. Warren Lail 88 Westy "Billy Bones" 87 GL "Long John"
