You can go to about 28" on a 2WD - still lots of room with 205R14s mounted
on there.

Subject: Max tire diameter for Carat

Hi all,

What's the largest tire you can cram in a Carat wheel well? Carat's
have shorter springs, you know. The standard 185R14C or 205/70/14 tire
is about 25.5" in diameter, but if I move up to 205R14C, they are 27" in
diameter! Who out there has the largest outside tire diameter in a
Carat?

Thanks,
Michael
