Ok, one thing I see the group not doing that they need to when this happens, is including the full headers with the offending message. As someone who handles these kind of complaints for a living, I will tell you that generally the ISP invlolved will not do anything without full headers. The headers contain a fingerprint of the email message, especially including a tracking serail number. It is most important to have this to be able to _legally_ prove anything. And the ISP has to tread lightly on this even if the guy is a scumbag depending on the TOS agreement. If this happens again, do not delete the email, and get in touch with me, or someone else knowledgable, that will help you prepare the message to the apparent ISP the message came from. I will help anyone on this type of thing, but I won't guarantee I'm available at any given instant. tom On 16 Mar 2004 at 19:43, tom ring wrote: > Never mind the forward. > > tom ------ Tom Ring K0TAR, ex-WA2PHW EN34hx 85 Westphalia GL Albert 96 Jetta GL The Intimidator taring@taring.org "It is better to go into a turn slow, and come out fast, than to go into a turn fast and come out dead."
