hey matt...just install them... dont bother hooking them up.. :<)    i put em
on my 84 van and never wired em up.. they look cool and dont flop around in
the wind..   besides, how often do you need to adjust them anyway?  you can
just push on the glass and adjust them by hand and then youre set..
just my opinion :<)
