does anyone know the age of the autobahn? i bet the old bug and busses would get
slammed on it? just wondering.

No, that's the speed limits your Fords and Chevy's were designed for...
There were lots of stretches of the Autobahn without speed limits. This is
why I've long preferred to drive German cars.
