Summer is coming again to north Texas. We are thinking of ways to improve the distribution of the cooled air in the Westy--56* air hitting the back of the passengers' heads is not good enough. I have looked at installing the front unit from a passenger bus, but this would impinge on driver headroom or on the poptop hole (or both). Has anyone moved the condenser unit into the roof luggage area over the driver and cut holes for the ducting? We rarely use the area for luggage; mainly we stick the dirty dishes up there while camped. I also though of installing a 110VAC compressor in line with the other plumbing to use while parked. Any separate comments?
