>>>>Hello all, I am planning to order a cooling hose kit for my 85 Vanagon from one of the vendors. My question is: What else should I replace while I am at it? Your help will be appreciated. Thanks Alfred 85 Westy <<<<< Hi Alfred, change water pump, thermostat, temp sender (the blue one). Remove radiator and check / flush this one, check the rear rad heather for leak, change the o-ring. Check all metal cooling line / tube for heavy corosion. Unless the pump is NEW or at most a year old, change this one. Cheers, Ben http://www.benplace.com/
