Yep works fine. Eric Abercrombie has a nice 2.5l conversion. Seth Hatfield at H&R motors in Santa Barbara CA has done several conversions using this motor as has that other place in Washington. You will need the wiring harness. Czech out the subaruvanagon list on Yahoo. p
